FRAKES, ONE MAN SHOW AT LLOYD'S GALLERY



Alan Frakes, Water Street Art Gallery
friend, plein air painter, illustrator, and
art instructor is being celebrated  with
a one-man show at Lloyd's Gallery
in Pawhuska.

 Alan has received much acclaim for his "dumpster" series, all painted in oil on canvas. You will find some of them in the background of these photos. He is seen here with Betty Dalsing of the Water Street Art Gallery.

This exhibit will hang through February.

From Lloyd's Gallery, the exhibit will
go the Swope Gallery in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The Swope Museum exhibit is part of a collaborative effort put together by Wes Janz, Professor of Architecture at Ball State, Muncie, Indiana.  http://www.swope.org/, event s not yet listed.

Wes and Alan collaborated in the summer of 2008 at the living Arts center in Tulsa.
